Andrew has been pretty busy with work for the past month or so. He is starting to slow down a bit so we get to see him most nights again, but for a while he left before we all woke up and was home after the kids went to bed and sometimes after I went to bed. Andrew knew he was going to have a crazy week at work a few weeks ago so we took the opportunity to go down to St. George and enjoy some really warm weather and spend some time with my family. I am glad we did because he ended up working 72 hrs that week! He's crazy!! I have to brag about him for a minute ;) He works so hard to provide for our family which allows me to stay home with our kids. He is doing so well at his job I am so proud of him! Even though it isn't his dream job he still works so hard and gives it his all. He not only impresses me but all those he works with. He is a pretty great guy! OK OK, on to the pictures of our St. George trip.
These pictures pretty much some of our trip. Sunshine, happiness, and LOVING grandma time. These 2 girls adore their grandma and they were in heaven all week!

Our trip started out a little bumpy. I woke up the first morning with a terrible earache. Luckily my sister was willing to take care of my kids so I could go to the doctor. I was in so much pain, it gave me A LOT more sympathy for my poor kids since they have gotten a lot of ear infections lately (6 ear infection between the three of them in the past 3 months and Matthew had some painful fluid stuck in his ears for a few weeks...poor kids). Anyways turns out I had an ear infection. Luckily my ear drum burst later that day and it relieved a lot of pressure and it started feeling better. Unluckily I am still dealing with problems from my eardrum bursting but it is slowly healing and getting better. Our trip may have started out a little bumpy but it quickly turned around and we had a great time! The highlight of the trip for the girls was when they got to go to my Uncle Chets house and ride one of his horses, princess. Emma loves everything horse and she loves everything princess so the two combined was a dream come true for her. She jumped on the horse so quickly. I was shocked! She didn't even hesitate. She can't get within arms length of cats, dogs, and chicks without freaking out and trembling, but she had no fears about getting up on the horse by herself and riding it around (while my uncle led with the reigns).

| This was about 2 seconds after she got on the horse. She was a little cautious but nonetheless very excited. |
Adelyn was a bit more hesitant. She didn't want to get on the horse at first, but she changed her mind after she saw her sister riding the horse around like a pro. She had a lot of fun riding it but she didn't want to stay on too long, but she did go for al little ride. Here is a video of Adelyn.

A BIG Thank you to Uncle Chet for letting us ride his horse!!! We had such a great time!
It was Andrew and I's 5 year anniversary while I was in St. George. I was hesitant be 400 miles away from Andrew on our 5 year anniversary but we both knew Andrew was going to be busy working all day and night Thursday and Friday so sadly we didn't get to spend our anniversary together but my sweet husband sent me some beautiful flowers.
When I asked my girls if they wanted to go to St. George they both exclaimed YES! and Emma looked at me and said "I want to go to grandma greats house!" Both of my girls love their Grandma great so much! I don't blame them, I love my grandma so much! She is such a wonderful kind person full of so much wisdom and love.
