Easter 2013

Since Andrew was busy with school I got to spend Easter weekend with my family in St. George. My mom loves that we only live 2 hours away so she can call me and talk me into bringing the girls up to see her. Also, I love that I only live 2 hours away so I can go up there when I want some extra help.

Later Saturday afternoon my dad and his band were playing at the music festival in St. George so we went to the park to listen to him play. My dad plays in a country band. He plays guitar and sings. I wish I had inherited his musical abilities. He is amazing!

I found this awesome toy at a garage sale (I love to go garage selling by the way! Best deals ever for kids toys)

All dressed up for church in their new sunday dresses. Emma's legs were a little small to fit into her new tights. She has the skinniest chicken legs! Church with these two is a zoo ( . )

 After church we went back to Vegas to spend the rest of Easter with Andrew. When we got home the Easter Bunny had left stuffed Animals for the girls in their cribs! They LOVE those stuffed Animals, especially the bunny!

They both LOVE this bunny! They've only had it a month, but it's been dragged along as they crawl all over our house and it has been in many tug a wars between the two of them. They've already ripped a hole in the arm. Adelyn likes cuddling with it when she sleepy & Emma likes chewing on the tags.

My happy little girls! They make me smile!

Here are some pictures that blow my mind away. The first picture is of my little girls right before they come home from the NICU at 4 weeks old. They are hooked up to all the breathing monitoring machines and blood pressure cuffs and pulse oxs and all the wonderful wires and machines that plagued them while they were in the NICU. Basically we wanted to make sure they would still breath and their hearts would still beat normally while in the car seat. We had to do the test before we could take them home.

This picture was taken the End ish of March. This really shows how big they are getting! Emma (on the right) is one TALL little girl! When did they go from tiny little babies who got swallowed up in their car seats to such big little girls! I swear I blinked my eyes and it happened. They grow up too fast!
