Catch Up

I have been seriously slacking on posting to my blog. A lot has happened and I have a lot of catching up to do. To make sure I get it all in there wont be a lot of details, but I do have lots of pictures.

Fall & Halloween:

We did a family night at Hee Haw Farms. The girls enjoyed the hay ride and playing with the farm animals.

For Halloween we took advantage of the trunk or treat since our girls are still a little young to go door to door trick or treating. We went trunk or treating with most of the Stagg cousins out in Tooele.
I took the easy way out for the girls' costumes and I reused their birthday outfits of Thing 1 & Thing 2.

Thanksgiving:
Thanksgiving was a little untraditional at our house this year. Andrew and I ended up planning a last minute trip to Hawaii! We wanted to go on vacation to celebrate Andrew graduating from law school. He Graduated in December. We decided that if we didn't go while he had a few days of during Thanksgiving we probably wouldn't get a chance to go since he graduated right before christmas and only had a few days off after christmas before he had to start his class to study for the Bar. (*Shutter* the Bar...) Anyways, we decided to go play in Hawaii for Thanksgiving. My mom and sister who are amazing were nice enough to watch my girls so it was just Andrew and I and Andrews brother Eli and his wife Mickell. The 4 of us had SO MUCH FUN!
I flew the girls down to St. George so my family could watch them while we were in Hawaii. They LOVED their first plane ride.

We made it to Hawaii. This pic is at the airport. Even the airport was pretty.

We went snorkeling at Hanuama Bay. Such a beautiful place and the fish and coral were so COOL!

The next day we went on this awesome hike through the jungle to a waterfall swimming hole. We took a wrong turn 3/4 the way through and got SO lost. It was so beautiful though that we didn't mind. Once again it was so BEAUTIFUL!

Look at that view!

 The waterfall/ swimming hole
You can't really see but that is Eli, Mickell, and Andrew up on the cliff waiting to jump off. I was the picture taker down in the swimming hole.

One day we went to the North Shore and watched a surfing competition.

Of course we went and checked out the temple.

We were suppose to go snorkeling with the dolphins this day but the trip got cancelled due to bad weather so we just drove around the island. It's hard to see the amazing view, but it was pretty cool.
Along our drive we found this blow hole. It was pretty cool since the waves were huge due to the stormy weather that day.
We spend a lot of our time in this car cooped up having fun driving around on the stormy day.

The next day we did get a chance to go snorkeling with the dolphins. It was SO COOL! We saw a whale, lots of dolphins and some sea turtles too. Andrew and I both got so sea sick that we forgot to take pictures. We were more in survival mode then enjoyment mode unfortunately. It was still a really cool experience swimming with the dolphins I just wish I would have gotten some pictures.

I took this picture in the plane on our way home. Hawaii is gorgeous no matter what view/angle you look at it from.
Bye Bye Hawaii!

ANDREW GRADUATED FROM LAW SCHOOL!
I am so proud of all the hard work my amazing husband has done to graduate. He is the best!
Dr. & Mrs. Stagg :)

Christmas!
Can you tell they didn't like Santa? Santa told me they have very good lungs :)

All the grand daughters got matching pajamas for christmas eve.
Hanging out watching a christmas movie.
The Girls' main present was too big to take down to St. George so we left it in Salt Lake. They were so happy when they got home and saw it! They spend so much time playing in this little house. Since it is FREEZING outside we keep it in the house.
They love playing peek-a-boo through this window.
Life in the freezing cold:
When its really cold outside and snowing and raining you have to get creative in order to not die from boredom.
Some days you just gotta stomp around the house in your diaper and snow boots.

Some days you just gotta hang out around the house in your pajamas, oh and also beanie and mittens.

When all else fails you bundle up and play in the snow.

"Noo", as the girls' would say. They can't say their 's' very well so they call snow noo.

Lucky girls were born with their best friend.

Emma pushing Emma in the wagon..
and when that got boring they switched and Addie pushed Emma in the wagon.
When we go for walks Addie likes to ride in the wagon and Emma likes to push her toy. Such different personalities.

Someone likes to eat snow :)
All pictures are Adelyn eating snow

Someone likes to run through the snow. Emma would run through the snow all day!

I love their rosy cheeks and noses after a fun filled afternoon in the snow.

And that is pretty much it.

Pictures!

I finally got the girls' "1 year" pictures taken. I was a little late... We took them a few weeks ago when they were 16 months.  We were just 4 months late, close enough right? After the first picture was taken Adelyn started screaming and anytime she saw the camera she continued to scream. Haha It was not fun. I finally figured out at the END of the photo shoot that she had a poopy diaper. It was the least smelly super burn her butt diaper ever! No wonder the poor girl cried and cried. I still feel bad, but no one smelt it and we were even holding her. After the photo shoot I was pretty sure there weren't going to be any good pictures of her or the family since she cried so much, but our photographer ( http://duwelphotos.blogspot.com/ ) was amazing and I was pleasantly surprised how well the pictures of Adelyn turned out. Emmalyn was ALL smiles most of the photo shoot. She loved taking pictures! I was super shocked when I got the pictures back at how many pictures turned out of Adelyn. There were 6 good pictures of Adelyn  and 2 pictures of Emma. Normally I try to keep the number of pictures even between the 2 girls, but the pictures are all so cute that I have to post all of them which means there are going to be more pictures of Adelyn then Emma so, sorry Emma.

Emmalyn Joeen Stagg

All about Emma: Emma is such a  happy little girl. She jabbers to herself (any anyone who will listen) all day long. I wish I knew what she was jabbering about, whatever it is she has a lot to say.
Emma is the most kind and loving little girl I have EVER met! She loves taking care of her sister by giving her a bottle or blanket when she is sad.
Emma has the BIGGEST blue eyes! Oh, those eyes. One pouty look from those big blue eyes and she can get whatever she wants.

Adelyn Ann Stagg

All about Adelyn: Adelyn is always on the go! She is a curious girl. She loves discovering new things and being busy. She unloads the kitchen drawers at least twice a day. After all her hard playing Adelyn is the biggest cuddler and she loves to rock with mom or dad and her blanket. She is a very affectionate and loving child. I love when she runs into my arms with her kissy lips and plants a big wet one on me.

My crazy little girls!

Oh my girls! I am the luckiest momma. I have so much fun with these two. They make me laugh every single day! They are at such a fun age. I love watching them learn and grow every day. They might be twins, but they couldn't be any more different. I love how individual they are. They are both bursting with personality, but in their own little way. The one thing they have in common? They are CRAZY! I love these crazy fun loving girls!

All I have to say is 3 simple words. I am blessed.
